The developers of The Baroque on Lamma applied to have their target areas rezoned from Conservation Areas and Costal Protection Areas to Comprehensive Development Areas.
These include: Concerns about the sewerage treatment facilities. Questions about alterations to the terrain. Details relating to the breakwater and its pilings. Concerns about the environmental impact of Government provided utilities required but not covered by the proposal. Discussion of a passenger ferry service not previously mentioned. More details about the number of vehicles expected. More details about proposed 'environmental activities' like Eco-walks (walks) and yachting regattas. Excuses as to why the helipad shouldn't be considered part of the project (!?!) and some discussion over whether this counts as Urban development.
